Treasurer / Co-Founder
My passion is policy development and ensuring policies have a positive influence on our beautiful world and societies. I was a member of the Greens for several years including running for both federal parliament and local government. There are scientific blindspots in the Green movement in Australia, such as in gene technology and nuclear energy. These weaken our ability to solve environmental and social challenges. That’s why I have led the founding of RePlanet Australia.
Secretary / Co-Founder
I believe in living in an environmentally conscious and ethical life. I strive to make sustainable and environmental personal choices in my daily life but see the need for wider societal change if we are to leave a legacy of a better world for future generations.
I am an optimist who believes there is still time to have a future where humanity and ecology thrive together. I gained my PhD in microbiology from UNSW in 2016, and have worked in gut microbiome research and in the NSW Covid-19 Public Health Response Branch.

OUR CORE VALUES
We remain respectful of others. We do not blame and shame individuals. We focus on systemic and scalable change. We reject any use of violence.
We follow the science. If others refuse to accept scientific evidence on any topic, we consider it our duty to point this out.
We are open-minded. In the light of better evidence, we’re ready to change our minds. We support technologies as means, not ends.
We embrace diversity. We appreciate the fact that we need to cooperate with people with different ideas and backgrounds.
We revere all life. We affirm the rights of all sentient beings to wellbeing.
